My city, my lovely capital city, is being attacked by a bunch of kids who have zero respect for life or property.
I almost didn't come on here tonight. I was expecting a friend to come over but he lives over a shop in a nearby town and he'd heard rumors that the violence was heading there.
What started in London has now spread to Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Liverpool, with no signs that the Police can control it.
It's a horrible day in British history, where the true volatile and ignorant nature of our youth is laid bare for all to see. Gone are the pretenses that it's just "vibrant" youth, and "mischief", they're burning and looting, destroying peoples homes and businesses. They're not keeping their anger for the global corporations, they're robbing and mugging, attacking and assaulting all over the country.
I don't think I have ever been truly scared to live in the UK before, but now I am. I want to leave. I want to pack my things and fuck off to some other country. Greece would be better than this, at least there the riots are actually for a reason and directed at those in power. here it's just animal, Ferrell kids with absolutely no regard for others.
If you haven't been keeping track, check the news, and keep an eye on it. It'll take the military to stop this now because the Police have been so pathetically weak.
