I know it might be considered by some to be a little bit shameful, but I genuinely rarely understand when I'm being cruised or hit on. While I think my "gaydar" is probably improving, I often completely miss when someone makes an open pass at me or a guy gives me that look as we pass in the street.
Last year I was at a gig with a friend of mine and we were walking toward the stage, I was a little bit drunk (as usual for me at a gig) and this group of lads walked past us. Thirty seconds later my buddy started laughing, and I was clueless. Turns out one of the boys had grabbed the attention of another of his buddies and they both eyed me as they passed muttering "yummy". And I completely missed it. They were hot too. lol
